Yes! You will need a reliable internet connection. Crazytel does not sell internet products. There are many internet providers to choose from if you don’t currently have internet.
Your SIP registrations will drop. Call forward will still work if it has been configured through our portal. We suggest if your telephone is essential for you to invest in a 4G backup service.
If you have a reliable internet connection, the quality is just like your mobile phone or your PSTN line (and often better).
Yes! Crazytel has a quadruple redundancy network — we are one of the few Australian companies that has such an extensive enterprise failover network.
No! Our residential SIP trunks are 100% pre-paid pay as you go with a minimum charge of just 50c per month per active SIP trunk. If you have an active DID(s) on your account, you will still be charged for your DID’s monthly fee regardless of use.
Premium Voicemail costs $1.00 per month per mailbox. Email notifications, webhooks, and call history playback are all included. SMS alerts ($0.05/segment) and AI transcription ($0.10/minute) are optional add-ons.
Yes! Email alerts are fully included in the $1.00/month base fee. There is absolutely no per-message charge for email delivery.
SMS alerts cost $0.05 per SMS segment. Long messages or messages containing emojis may count as more than one segment. Each recipient is billed separately.
AI Voicemail transcription is priced at a flat rate of $0.10 per minute. It is charged by the second of audio rather than rounded up to whole minutes.
You are not charged if transcription fails or if the voicemail message is completely silent. You only pay for successful transcriptions.
You have full control over your retention policy. You can choose to keep recordings for up to 180 days per mailbox, and the expiry date is shown per message in the portal.
No! You do not need to know SIP or perform any technical setup. You can assign any DID to a mailbox by name in number management directly via our self-service portal.
